How We Work

Below you'll find a complete outline of the full project cycle we follow here at the creative studio, highlighting what we need from you at every step of the way. We also share important information about our internal processed and the way we work for full transparency. We hope you'll find this useful.

Project Timeframes

Your project will be worked on within a timeframe set at booking stage. Unless you've purchased our expedited service ad-on or otherwise agreed a different timeline, here are the standard project timelines that we follow for our packages:

• 7-12 weeks for All-in Branded Squarespace website
• 6-7 weeks for All-in Squarespace website (if you're providing your own branding/copy)
• 5-6 weeks for Branded Scroll Website
• 4-5 weeks for Branded Scroll Website (if you're providing your own branding/copy)
• 3-4 weeks for 8h Review&Restyle Bundle

Important Note: Please note that the above timeframes are only valid if you are able to submit your project assets such as web copy, photos or branding (if you're providing your own) in a timely manner. If anything is missing and we have to put your project on hold until you gather your assets, the project timeline will be extended accordingly. Don't worry, within our timelines, we have accounted for a reasonable timeframe for you to gather your assets.

Below you’ll find a detailed outline of our full project lifecycle.

If you're providing your own branding, photos and copy, we can skip the Assets Gathering Phase, and as a result will be able to deliver your project within a shorter timeframe.

If you're using our copywriting service, we recommend that you schedule copywriting onboarding call as soon as we’ve onboarded you into the creative studio. That way, we will be able to deliver your project within our standard timeline. If you are writing your own website copy and you need more than 2 weeks to complete it, your project will remain within the Assets Gathering Phase until the copy are ready. This will also extend the completion timeline.

What we will deliver:

• 60-min Project Onboarding Call (Web Wireframe and Visual Concept)

What we need from you:

• Attend 90-min Brand Brand Mentorship Call (if applicable)

• Complete project onboarding form (24h prior to onboarding call)

• Provide information about your services, audience and who you are

• Create a Pinterest board, and share you ideas and inspirations (if applicable)

• Share all existing brand assets including any of the following: logo, colours, fonts, photos, website content, testimonials, certifications and so on (if applicable)

• Schedule & Attend your 60-min Project Onboarding Call

Assets Gathering Phase*

What we will deliver:

• Website Structure Planning

• Copywriting Process (if applicable)

• Project Progress 1 Call Report & Next Steps

What we need from you:

• Work with our copywriter to develop your written content (we accounted approx. 2-3 weeks for copywriting) or submit your finalised website copy and any content assets to us.

• Feedback on stock photos we’ve sourced via feedback form

• Feedback on logo concepts we’ve created via feedback form

• Schedule & Attend your 30-min Project Progress Call 1

Recommended Timeframe: 2-3 WEEKS

 
 

*In order for us to enter the Website Design Phase of the project, your website copy, branding (unless done by us) and photos need to be available, or we won't be able to move forward and will have to put your project on hold until those are ready.

• Your Website Goes Live

What we need from you:

• Provide login details to domain provider and any other necessary logins

• Schedule & Attend your 60-min Squarespace Training Call

• Make your final project payment

• Subscribe to Squarespace and Purchase your Domain Name

• Schedule & Attend your 15-min Project Wrap-Up Call (Optional)

• Let us know when to take your website live

Recommended Timeframe: 1-2 WEEKS

Expert Logo and Brand Identity Design | Toronto & NYC

Project add-ons

• If you've purchased our website copywriting or copy tweaks service, delivering this package will take approx. 2-3 weeks during the Assets Gathering Phase.

• If you've purchased SEO, E-commerce, Membership or similar integration, delivering those packages usually takes approx. 3-4 weeks.

• If you've purchased any of the above in addition to your main Squarespace website project, those will only be worked on after your website is completed and we've delivered your training call. We treat those as separate projects from main website, and will offer an additional planning call to kick-start each on the ad-ons.

Expert Logo and Brand Identity Design | LA & NYC

A Few Quick Facts

• Friday is our project planning day. Thats when our Creative Coordination Team reviews all the feedback and project assets received throughout the week, and if we have everything we need, your project is scheduled to be worked on in the next available design cycle. We prioritize projects with deadlines first, so please make sure that you always have a launch date in place. Any projects without a deadline are only added to the next design cycle if there is availability.

• Each Design Cycle is 2 weeks long (note: during busy periods such as summer or national holidays, design phases might take longer (up to 3-weeks) to complete due to increased workload and decreased capacity). First week is a design week, second week is a revision call week. We schedule projects for design on Fridays, and our expert designers send out design drafts and feedback forms throughout the week, as soon as they are ready. Once you receive your design drafts, please follow guidance in the revision form to offer feedback and schedule your 30-min progress call to discuss your feedback and ideas using our online booking system. To ensure that your project is always moving forward, please provide your feedback to us in a timely manner (to stay on schedule for your launch, we recommend that you submit your feedback within 72h from receiving your design drafts).

• Every Monday we send out reminders to those clients whose feedback or assets we've not received. If you need to pause your project because you're waiting to have a photo-shoot, writing your website copy or if life gets in the way, please let us know. This is okay with us, but please know that your project will be put on hold until you provide feedback or assets, and the launch date we've set on booking will no longer be realistic. Once you're ready to get going again, just reach out to us and we'll review your project timeline and update your launch date.
